Notice how the windshield decal and the plate cover in the header advertise two different websites.

Top photo doesn't look anything like a Venom GT.

You remember this! It was this car in that game that initially exposed me to how amazing Lotus was and what they were capable of.

You do know that the top is the first generation Lotus elise stretched, widened and stuffed with a Turbo V8. Same Formula followed to create the Venom

I was an idiot when I was a kid. I was like, that Lotus SUCKS! Only 390 bhp??? PFFFF the McLaren F1 owns it because of more horsepower and top speed. I used to switch between the McLaren and the Jaguar XJ220 because they were the top of their class.

The game is the only reason I even know what a Lotus GT1, and Jaguar XJ220 was. I always had a thing for the XJ220

Same here, but I had a weird hate on Lotuses. Back then, all I cared was numbers. The only exception was the Cala...oh man what a car it was! I could not stop watching the showcase video of it back to back.

Yea having a subscription to road and track in the 90's, I grew addicted to their Data Sheets, and fell victim to the idea that numbers ruled all. Turns out that numbers aren't everything, and there are some other crazy factors like awesomeness and feel!

Did not know that. Good for understanding. I just thought this page was referring the top car as being a Venom GT. Looked liked an 80's version of it if that would have ever been made. The top car looks almost like a kit car where as the Venom GT looks like a super clean manufacturer model. Thanks for clearing that up though.
